Quiet Wishes: Mai K Derwish

10 days without updates. *Laugh*. I don't have any strong reasons, sorry to say. Just didn't have the right mood I guess. So, many things happened in 10 days.

First, I was busy 'managing' my batch's picnic (kinda). We went to Tanjung Balau, Kota Tinggi. Yup, a beach! But sadly, our teacher decided not to permit us to swim! or even touch the water. (but of course we did touch the water, some of my friend 'soaked' their legs).

Despite all that, we did have a very enjoyable time! I loved this picnic so much. All stress were gone. (I was so stressed up planning the picnic,, with just a couple of people 'really' helping and cooperating). It was held 2 days and a night. We booked 4 chalets with 10 beds in each of it. The chalets are so comfortable, with air-cond's and tv's! Yup, the number of people coming was just 34 or 35. Half of our 'batchers'. But that didn't hold us back and stop enjoying our leisure time.

What else we did there? We had barbeque at night. The boys were incharge in 'barbequing' all the chickens that the girls had prepared. (specifically only 2 of my friends and I prepared the chickens, at our houses). Yummy! We had a couple of 'tazkirah' delivered by our beloved teacher, Ustazah Suhana. In the morning before we got back, we played netball. So much fun! We also had 'say anything you want to say' session. It was of course touching.. of course, we all are going to part. So sad. Heard loads of "I love you guys so much".. "do remember me"... "do another picnic/reunion" ... "I'll miss you all a lot".. "Friends Forever!!!" ..

As soon as I got back from the picnic, my friend told me to by Harian Metro (a local newspaper). So I did.. and at page 9 I found this 'advertisment' .. ^_^


Look for my name! This is for my school.Altogether there are 61 candidates. Half of them gained 6 A's and above! oh, I'm so proud of my friends and my school and my teachers! (harian metro, 25th March 2005)

This thursday, our parents will conduct a thank you party/feast for the teachers.

Last weekend also, I went to a motivational programme, similar to the one I attended before, and yes again as a faci. It went well. And so tiring.

This afternoon, my mum, and sis and I went to a shopping complex. I bought a new shoes! yay. And 4 kain to make baju kurung. Can you imagine? 4!!! haha... I felt guilty at first, I asked my mum countless of time "can I buy this much, ma? can I? " my mum just nodded, said it was okay because I'm about to enter university. And also I bought one jubah seluar too.. hehe...

This evening my sis and I had usrah ar school. My sis drove our Trajet. I want to drive.. but my family hasn't trusted me yet. My abah said I have to practise inside the neighbourhood first. Until I become an expert. Haha.. Okay, I will.. I will practise.. till everyone will trust me!

Quiet Wishes: Mai K Derwish

My family and I went to Langkawi for holiday, for 4 days. Nice, nice, but not as exciting as I imagined it would be.

The resort we stayed at was full of europeans. I didn't feel comfortable at all. When we wanted to swim at the swimming pool or at the beach, all the mat saleh would stare at us.. because we were wearing tudung, and big shirt , while they were wearing swimming trunks and bikinis! Urgh...

Well, we didn't swim too long. We have circled the island a couple of times,though. We have a ride on cable cars, we went to the underwater world, we went to Langkawi Bird Paradise. We went shopping (specifically, my mum went shopping and we followed her..haha). I bought some key chains to be given to my close friends.

Surprisingly, we didn't go to any Mahsuri-related places. Uh, I don't care too much bout that... Especially the mausoleum (sp?).. I wonder why people go there.. just stare at the mausoleum? Maybe there are other interesting things there that I don't know.

We took a lot of pictures. But all of them are in my father's laptop. Maybe if I have enough energy, I'll transfer some of them here...

We took a flight to langkawi from KLIA, with AirAsia (now everyone can fly.. haha). The aircraft was small... well, cheap, I know. And when we were landing, my ears hurt so much! Maybe because the aircraft's pressure absorber didn't work well.. yeah, I know, cheap aircraft. Haha. But I took a lot of nice pictures on the way back.

Urm, for the future... I planned to take Engineering. Computer engineering if possible. But my priority is to go overseas. Pray for me.

Oh, I don't know what else to write!

How is my result?
I got 10A's... 7A1's, 3A2's, 1B3, 1B4. Not bad, not bad at all.
But still, I am dissapointed, can't help it, can anyone?
But I admit that I deserve this. I know it's quite impossible for me to get straight A's considering my attitude, I didn't work hard, last minute studying.. haha.
I'm so unfortunate, so lucky. I'm being blessed with 10A's. God loves me.

Now I'm busy completing application forms. Now I'm waiting for my mum, she'll fetch me and we'll go to the bank to make a bank draft, to pay for process fees. Now I'm busy :).

Just a day after the result, I went to KL, for a Leadership Course for 3 days. So I've wasted (not really) 3 days.. because we only have 10 days to complete all the forms and to send the application.

So, my comments...
I was surprised with EST, the paper was soooo easy! most of my friends got A2 too.. maybe the graph has been changed..
And.. history! wow.. I never thought I can get an A1 for History. I'm so thankful.
Chemistry.. quite dissapointing. I got A2 in the trial. Low chance to apply to overseas with B3 in chemistry..but, oh well.. I'll try to apply
Biology.. I guess that's the best I could do! I accept that result.. :) hating bio.

I'm ill. Sore throat and flu. Hate it. I feel so tired and weak. I had a loooong sleep last night. But I don't feel any better. My hands are weak.. can barely lift them to type this rant. And my voice.. waaa.. where has my voice gone?!

Last Saturday I went to Angsana (as I told you before) to go to the education fair. I found out that the so called fair was completely boring! Just a bunch of colleges/universities stalls.. nothing interesting. Got tons of leaflets though, but still.. boring!



After that my sister and I went around the shopping complex to look for bags. My sister bought one.. and I bought one too! so pretty!



My father asked me to do a project. Translating! Wow. I'm not very good in english but he dared me. So I said, okay. So this is the book, titled "Stories From The Hadith".. I have to translate it into malay. (oh, beside the book is my handphone..huhu, and my class photo)



I just translated 3 pages.. haha.. it's hard! you know, to search for the right malay words, and to arrange them so that it won't sound weird. (below, the comp and the book)



So, I've to work hard!

I went to school yesterday. My friends and I painted a mural on one of the school's buildings. Then I got a new job for the Graphic 'Department' of the school magazine: design dividers/categories title.. dunno what they're really called. Here's one of them that I've designed.. quite simple. Oh, I forgot to put a border around it..



Have to hand them in to the editor this Wednesday. Oh! tomorrow! and then... the result!!! on Thursday! oh.. wish me luck!

Oh, I feel good. So many good things happened!
First, I've stopped working! yay! I'm so tired already. I have received my payment!
Second, I passed my road test! yay! I feel so complete now that I've obtained a driving license. So complete!
Third, I got a new USB thumbdrive (:p) plus MP3 player! yay! with 512 MB of space. And I don't even have to use my own money. Oh, I am so fortunate to have a father like my father! heh.

This is a 'something' I did yesterday.

Cute. I made it using my tablet. See how unprofessional I am using the tablet.

My dad just got back from Indonesia 2 days ago. He bought lots of cds and books from there. Mostly children's cds..and islamic cds and dakwah's books. I like a book titled 'La Tahzan' means 'Don't be sad' . It's a motivational and inspiring book based on The Quran and The Sunnah. A very good book although it is in Indon Language..


Hmm.. I will go to Plaza Angsana (a shopping complex nearby). There will be an educational fair.
